Gabriel Shvachkin is an Associate at R&R Legal. He joined as an intern at its inception in the summer of 2021 and continued to work with the firm as its sole law clerk for two years until becoming an associate in the summer of 2023. Having started his legal journey as a filing clerk at a New York real estate law firm and eventually working as a paralegal at a large New York law firm in complex tort litigation, Gabe landed at R&R Legal because of its client-centered mission statement and personality-forward work environment.
Having experienced the world of large New York Law firms, Gabe knew that his passion resided in working for real people with real projects that they were connected to, rather than insurance carriers of massive corporations. It is this passion for bringing someone's work to the world that led him to his love of intellectual property law among other practice areas that focus on everyday people putting their mark on the world.
Gabe is a recent graduate of Rutgers Law School – Newark where he was a clinical intellectual property student and the Managing Notes and Comments Editor of the Computer and Technology Journal. He passed the July 2023 New Jersey Bar and is looking forward to being a licensed attorney. He presently spends his days assisting in various practice areas including civil litigation, intellectual property, real estate and landlord-tenant matters, estate planning, and general business law.
